How a Heat Recovery Ventilation System Works
Part I –Improving the Air Quality of your Home
> Two fans are installed.
> One fan draws the warm stale and polluted air from the living areas of your home through the HRV system to be released outside.
> The second fan draws a continuous stream of cool fresh air in through the system to be distributed throughout your home.
Part 2 -Saving you Money
> HRVs can recover up to 70-80% of the heat in the exhaust air.

Getting the maximum benefit from your HRV requires proper installation and regular maintenance. With over 85 years of combined experience in the heating and ventilation business, HRAI Certified Steve Morey and his Clean Air Solutions Team specialize in both.

Service & Maintenance of your HRV System
Maintaining your ventilation system is vital to ensuring your home’s air quality remains high. Yet
Clean Air Solutions is one of the very few companies that specialize in preventative maintenance and servicing support for Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) systems on the North East Avalon.
An unserviced or poorly maintained system that causes the fresh outdoor air to be contaminated before it enters your home now becomes the problem - rather than the solution.
If that’s not bad enough, consider this - a dirty heat recovery core acts as insulation and reduces the amount of heat energy transferred from the warm outgoing air to the cold incoming air. This could reduce your units efficiency from 80% to as low as 20%.
To maintain a healthy indoor environment and save you money Steve Morey & his Clean Air Solutions crew will keep your HRV system working at peak efficieny using the 10 Point Service Plan.
